Situated in the lovely rural village of Stowting the pub looks out on picturesque. Kentish countryside. The beer terrace at the front of the pub acts as a sun trap during the day and and provides a romantic setting after dark.

The bar and restaurant are ideal for families too as children are welcome and we even supply a children's menu.

We cater for everyone with a no-smoking restaurant and wheelchair access. Dogs are welcome in the bar and there are facilities for tying up horses in the car park.

The pub itself is over 250 years old and has changed its name on numerous occassions, finally settling on The Tiger Inn in 1980. Whilst the origin of the name is not clear, it is rumoured that a tiger escaped from a visiting circus and, being tempted to the pub by the delicious smells, was promptly captured by the locals with a large tablecloth!
